The first from reach records that Caught my attention was Lecrae. I've heard other so-called concept albums in the past such as Prince Among Thieves and Psychoanalyst by Prince Paul and others and Six Feet Deep by the Gravediggaz. 13 Letters is truly an album that was more than simply inspired by God. This thing is so cool. Get it. And I also like "Justified" by Sho Baraka a lot, which is breaking down Galatians.I thought he was talking about a specific denomination.he could have been by comparing them to that book. Breaking down Romans.
Did God ghost write the album. The song "Gospel Music" by Shai Linne is so cool. Now Prince Paul was always a favorite of mine but I became a Christian and the only album of his that I still want to keep around is Itstrumental.but certain tracks feel wrong so I need to make myself an edited version of the album. He's still overall my favorite but reach has quite a roster.
This album is incredible. What is being said on it was SAID by God. He holy ghost wrote it.
I love it because so many christian rappers try to stray from Jesus oriented lyrics. This CD was definetly great. You cant get any better than that They focus on beats and generic lyrics but 116 clique has beats, lyrics and they have bible backing. I love the 116 clique and their albums solo and together. The best thing about them is the rap straight bible.
Great beats great lyricism and well put together. These guys get it so you have to get this cd. There is no lyricism in todays secular rap and hip hop all garbage compared to the skill that it takes to come up with music like this. I loved this cd, better than what I expected. I hate to say that I dont read the bible as much as I am going to be because this made me want to pick my bible up to read those chapters and compare.
It has some extremely talented artist like Shia Linne, Trip Lee, Lecrea, Diamonde, Flame, J-Son. You can really bump these songs and just get into them, and will make Bible studies way more fun. This is seriously the Best Christian Hip-Hop Album ever Made. The songs Hit. I'm telling you, you will not be able to put this album down. The Message of this album is the 13th letters Apostle Pual wrote. The Songs are summaries of the Books with the verse from the letters right in the songs.
I love the concept of going through Paul's 13 letters - keeping the Word in their lyrics. You already know this would be hot, look at the line up.
